Young Stress Analyst (YSA) Competition 2022

One of our Mechanical Engineers, Jack Chester, was recently awarded by The British Society for Strain Measurement (BSSM) as ‘Runner Up’ in their 2022 Young Stress Analyst Competition which took place at St Anne’s College, University of Oxford on 7th September.

Jack reached the finals of the competition after submitting some work for review and was one of four individuals to be invited to present to a panel of experts for 15 minutes, followed by a 5 minute Q&A session. Jack’s submission was an abstract, “Percutaneous Screws for the Treatment of Long Bone Fracture Non-Union” which you can and/or download below.
