STRAIN GAUGING

Our technicians are certified to provide one-off or volume, in-house or on-site strain gauge installation services of the highest quality. In particular, we excel in static and fatigue test applications across most material types, and operate a level suitable for the automotive, motorsport and aerospace sectors.

Foil Gauges

• Polyimide backed strain gauges for -60°C to +150°C temperature ranges.

• Phenolic backed strain gauges for -269°C to +300°C temperature ranges.

• Suitable for installation on most materials.

• For use on static, dynamic or high elongation applications.


Weldable Gauges

• Suitable for a broad temperature range, -195°C to +260°C.

• Strain range ±5%.

• Supplied pre-leaded to avoid soldering.

• Minimal training required to allow customer installation.


Free Filament Gauges

• Multi-layer ceramic cement installations for use up to +800°C.

• Suitable for both static and dynamic applications.

• Highly specialised custom solution.


Bolt Gauges

• Suitable for fluctuating temperature conditions from –200°C to +70°C.

• Internal bonding improves loading performance.

• Minimal mechanical removal of material required.
